Animal Kingdom is Expanding

Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Park is usually not in the travel plans for guests who require the dining experiences of Epcot®, or the volume of rides at Magic Kingdom®, but there is a new source of thrills in the works.
Spring 2006 is the launch date for “Expedition Everest”, a 200 foot tall mountain roller coaster in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom. The planning and construction have been years in the making.
Will this new ride put this relatively new theme park on the map and into the three-day Park Hopper plans? Possibly, at least for the first year of its opening.
If it has half the fun of Magic Kingdom®’s “Big Thunder Railroad” this could easilly become my new favorite ride. As a gardening enthusiast, I already enjoy the landscaping and plant diversity that this park supports, but a new, major ride is just what it needs to renew interest in other guests. That, and a few great restaurants.
For many, Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Park has some catching up to do. If its nahtazu, then what is it?
